LIGHTS OUT SHOWDOWN RULES

Here's how the Lights Out Showdown auxiliary lighting competition is judged:
 

Judging Classifications:

The Lights Out competition evaluates all aftermarket installed LED, Electroluminescent, Incandescent, Fiber Optic, or any other form of lighting added to the vehicle. The classes are divided into three categories: Interior Lighting, Exterior Lighting, and Overall Lighting. Judging considers the quantity and quality of lights, their effectiveness, and innovative design.

Point Scoring Categories:

There are four scoring categories, applicable to both Interior and Exterior lighting:

 

• Installation Integrity: Scored from 1 to 10 points, assessing the quality and integrity of the installation.

• Wiring: Scored from 1 to 10 points, evaluating the effectiveness and tidiness of the wiring.

• Cosmetic Integration: Scored from 1 to 10 points, judging how well the lighting integrates aesthetically with the vehicle.

• Quantity: Capped at a maximum of 20 points, rewarding vehicles with a higher quantity of lights.

• Creativity: Scored from 1 to 10 points, recognizing innovative and unique lighting designs.

Awards:

• First, Second, and Third Place awards are given for the Best Jeep Interior Lights Out Showdown.
   

• First, Second, and Third Place awards are given for the Best Jeep Exterior Lights Out Showdown.
   

• First, Second, and Third Place awards are given for the Best Bronco Interior Lights Out Showdown.
   

• First, Second, and Third Place awards are given for the Best Bronco Exterior Lights Out Showdown.
   

• Overall Jeep Winner will be given the Jeep OVERALL Lights Out Showdown Award.
   

• Overall Bronco Winner will be given the Bronco OVERALL Lights Out Showdown Award.
   

• Best of Show Award will be recognizing the vehicle with the most exceptional lighting presentation across all categories and will be awarded to only one Jeep or one Bronco making it a true Jeep vs Bronco competition – BEST OF SHOW Lights Out Showdown Award!
